Ex-Blink 182 Drummer Travis Barker and DJ AM critically injured in plane crash

Travis Barker, ex-Blink 182 drummer, and Adam "DJ AM" Goldstein were both critically injured with extensive burns when their jet crashed in flames at the end of the runway in Columbia, South Carolina, killing four other people. The duo had just played at a free outdoor concert in the Five Points District on Friday night and were headed back to Van Nuys, California.

Buzznet was tipped off to the story by our own FireAndRain; the Learjet 60 was leaving Columbia late Friday night, after the free concert. According to preliminary reports, witnesses saw sparks as the plane was leaving; the source of the sparks is unknown. The jet left the ground; however, it then immediately crashed on a road adjacent to the runway.

There haven't been any recent status updates as to the pair's condition, beyond being admitted to the hospital for "extensive burns." They're both at a burn center in Augusta, Georgia.

Our hearts and thoughts go out to the two crew members and two passengers who perished in the fiery crash and we wish the best for both Travis Barker and DJ AM.

OSCARS: Gifting Suites are Like Trick or Treating for Celebrities

This past Friday, Lisa from A Socialiteâ�™s Life and I made a quick stop at one of the gifting suites happening in LA in conjunction with the Oscars. Once we made our way past the security guards stationed at the door, we were transported into a mini-mall of sorts where more than 20 brands were set up anxiously awaiting the next celebrity to walk through the door that they could introduce their products to.

While there, we spied Joey Fatone and Shannon Elizabeth catching up in the corner, each with their hands full of goodies, including wine from Fish Eye, Desert Blue Jeans and a huge can of CafÃ© Bustelo coffee. Other celebrities that visited the suite included Juno director Jason Reitman, Kevin Federlineâ�™s ex Shar Jackson, Tara Reid and Rosanna Arquette who were treated to a gift bag from the new soy-based skincare line Adorage and cute printed dresses from Single.

Just Had an Earthquake in Hollywood, CA

my apartment rock and rolled a little. it was freaky. all's fine now.....seems there was a pretty big one about 20 miles away and we must have gotten the aftershock of it...check it out here!

I Can't Stop Listening to the Halos EP. I'm Addicted!!!! Also, Saw Kat Von D -- She's Tall!!

I should be sleeping right now, but instead I'm drinking sparkling water, eating a handful of Special K Fruit and Yogurt Cereal (Yum Yum Yum) and listening to the Halos -- my new favorite band and CD I'm embarrassed to admit it, but I've already listened to about 50 times today and 50 times yesterday....more about that in a minute....

Sooooo, on a completely separate note, Steve and I were driving to The Grove the other day and we drove past Kat Von D's studio, High Voltage (which happens to be just a couple of blocks from the Buzznet offices, 2 blocks from my apartment and 3 blocks from Steve's. Um yeah we both live pretty close to work!) Anyway...there she was out on the street shooting her show...she kept crossing the street at La Brea & Fountain and she looked awesome, but I never realized HOW tall she really is -- She easily has to be 5'10 to start and then she wears gynormous heels -- she was huge. Of course neither Steve or I had a good camera on us -- my battery was dead from shooting the Halos show the night before - -I pulled into the supermarket parking lot and we got out and watched for a few...then we started calling a bunch of people to see if they could come over quick to shoot some pics -- but no luck. We're staking out High Voltage and are determined to get pics of Kat!!! LA Ink premieres tomorrow -- don't forget to tune in -- lots of other good premieres coming up...Watched Rock Life on VH1 tonight -- Cisco and Tony Potato are always hilarious>WhiteStarr's behind the scenes photos and videos from the filming of the show. Also, The Hills -- Yippee -- and Weeds next week too!

Ok, so back to the Halos -- someone seriously needs to help me cause I am completely addicted to their song Helium. All 4 of the songs on their EP are awesome...but Helium is out of control good....I think I scared people in W.Hollywood this weekend speeding around in my Jeep with the windows down blaring their song and singing at the top of my lungs.... Everyone should check them out -- their fairly new, from OC -- I actually went with Kron and Lizy last week to see them play at Chain Reaction in Anaheim and they were Awesome!! They're super cute too!
